Our Story
Ultra Fast Sorting
Up to 50 chicks per minute per module.
97% Accuracy
Ultrafine-grained AI trained on thousands of chicks
Compact Design
Footprint < 4m² | Modular | Water-resistant
Our Technology
Parvada uses high-speed imaging and Stanford-developed AI to classify chicks by sex with over 97% accuracy. Each wing is analyzed in real time by a deep learning model trained on thousands of feather patterns. Within milliseconds, a gentle air jet redirects the chick to the correct lane—automating the process with precision, speed, and care. The system is modular, water-resistant, and built for seamless hatchery integration.
01
AI Powered Precision
Our deep learning model is trained on thousands of chick wing patterns, achieving over 97% classification accuracy.
03
Gentle, Contactless Handling
Using soft air jets, chicks are redirected without mechanical stress—preserving animal welfare and reducing injury risk.
02
Ultra-Fast Throughput
Capable of sorting up to 50 chicks per minute, Parvada accelerates early-stage processing while maintaining quality.
04
Modular & Hatchery-Ready
Built to fit into existing workflows, our system is compact (<4m²), water-resistant, and easy to maintain.
About Us.
Parvada was founded by a team of engineers and scientists from Stanford and Harvard with a shared vision: to bring cutting-edge AI and humane automation to poultry production. Drawing on deep expertise in computer vision, robotics, and agricultural systems, we developed a feather sexing solution that delivers precision, speed, and care at scale. At Parvada, we believe technology should not only increase efficiency—it should also respect life, reduce waste, and build a smarter food system from the ground up.
